The Greening of the City

Spring is almost here, and that means GREEN!!!  Green shoots, leaves and buds appearing everywhere, and yes, that means it's time to CLEAN, too!  So when you're cleaning out your closets and getting things ready for recycling and the trash, remember to contact your local municipality to find out where and how to dispose of specific waste items (appliances, computers, cell phones, TV's, DVD players, CD players/radios, mp3 players and iPods, iPads, e-readers, etc., as well as textiles, household items, books, records, CD's, DVD's, ceramics, plastics, wire hangers, sharps, hazardous waste like paint and paint thinner and old cleaning products and medications, etc., etc.).  Be safe and make sure the environment is safe!
